The Gallery At Whitesbog
The Gallery at Whitesbog is a members gallery space to connect local South Jersey artists with Whitesbog Village’s history, buildings and landscape. Housed in a 1900-era worker’s cottage, the renovated three room, cedar-clad building is a light filled-space. Situated in the historic village, it is one of over 20 buildings that have been renovated by the Whitesbog Preservation Trust including a General Store, Barrel Factory and the home of Elizabeth White, Suningive. Surrounded by cranberry bogs and situated in the New Jersey Pine Barrens, the setting is beautiful and inspiring
Welcome to the Gallery at Whitesbog! We are grateful for the re-invented 2020 Annual Blueberry Festival! So many thanks are due to the Whitesbog Preservation Trust and its volunteers for making a virtual festival possible AND including the Gallery in the festivities. Each year our Gallery has continued to grow and attract new members. We are a relaxed and comfortable place to gather and create. Sometimes we simply gather and share ideas or enjoy one anthers company. Either way, the Gallery (and our new porch!) is a great place to set up your easel, paint box, sketch books, etc. and enjoy an afternoon in a welcoming environment. For more information please see the Gallery at Whitesbog page on Facebook.
We have included two image galleries for the 2020 Whitesbog Blueberry Festival Gallery section of this virtual format. The first image gallery is our actual Summer Art Show titled “Blue”. There are many pieces in the show and we hope that you enjoy your “walk through Gallery”. The second image gallery takes note of and recognizes the artists, supporters, participants, and key people involved in the Gallery. Please take a moment to read a bit about the people who make the Gallery space possible and have had such an impact on the local artist community. There are also photographs of past shows and events that have taken place in the Gallery. Should you have any interest in purchasing a work from one of our artists, or have any questions about a piece on display, please reach out to me directly and I will facilitate an easy purchase and/or answer your questions…or put you in touch with the artist! Thank you for your interest and support of the site. Remember to please consider becoming a member of Whitesbog and join us in another fun year of activities!
Cheers! Terry Schmidt,
